Politica Pet Friendly

At Bluedoors hotels, service is everything. Thinking about the comfort of our guests, we have designed a Pet Friendly policy so that those who wish to stay with their pets can share the experience with their little friends. 

Below you will find detailed guidelines to take into account when staying with your pets so that you can have the best experience during your stay at the hotel.

Pet-Friendly Policy

  • The guest must inform that he is coming with his pet once he makes the reservation at
    the hotel.

  • The cost of stay per pet/night is 25 USD.

  • The pets vaccination card or documents will be required.

  • The animals allowed are domestic pets such as dogs and cats.

  • When the guest is in the common areas of the hotel (restaurant, corridors, gym) your pet must be kept on a leash and must always be accompanied by its owners.

  • The waste produced by the pet must be collected by its owners and never inside the hotel.

  • Pets should not be left alone in the rooms. In case it is left in the room, inform reception.

  • For the safety and comfort of your pet, the maid will NOT clean your room if your pet is left unattended. If you and your pet are in the room while the maid is present, your pet must be in the pet crate. Please contact the room manager about the time you prefer to clean your room.

  • An additional charge will be applied if the pets dirty, damage or create excessive disorder in the room, which will be notified once the situation is evaluated.

  • Guests are responsible for all damages to the property and/or personal injuries that their pet may generate, at the time of check-in they must leave a guarantee card for additional expenses or damages that may occur.

  • Noise should be kept to a minimum. The barking of dogs or the meowing of cats may disturb guests. The pet owner will be responsible for the repair and/or replacement of any item stained or damaged by their pets and the owner will be responsible for any damage to the hotel or to another person caused by their pet.

  • You agree to respect and indemnify hotel any claim or damage related to your pet or domestic animal during your stay at the hotel, including any third-party claim.

  • The owner of the pet must agree not to disturb the tranquility of the other guests, otherwise, the hotel reserves the right to stay.

 

1.1 Guidelines for guide pets required:

  • The requirements to take your dog to Colombia are the following: present the Sanitary Certificate, issued 10 days before entering the country, where the veterinarian certifies that the animal has passed a review and is free of infectious and parasitic diseases. Vaccination certificate, all the data of the animal and its vaccination up to date. The ICA (Colombian agricultural institute) verifies the documentation.

  • Pet certificate as emotional accompaniment, and must be certified by a doctor who testifies that the person requires it for their mental health.

1.2 Current legal regulations:

The hotel adapts to the mandatory compliance of Law 746 of 2002 "by which the possession and registration of potentially dangerous dogs is regulated", enforcing the use of muzzles in common areas of large and potentially dangerous breeds as mentioned in this National Law.
